Oh, do you all want an actual 'blog'?
Okay.
It was a hot spring day in the city of New Orleans. The sun's rays were beating down on the residents of and visitors to the city. Those rays had been beating down for two weeks. Highly unusual for this time of year.
There was magic in the air, this year, and everyone could sense it.
The winds were blowing too. Neither too strong nor too light; but, at just the right speed. Those perfect winds provided much needed relief from the hot rays of the sun. It was glorious!
The heat, winds, magic and excitement could be felt throughout southeast Louisiana. People from all over the world had flocked to the city of New Orleans for over two weeks.
Why, you ask? For the music, the dance, the food, the art, the culture of the city! For the intoxication of it all. To share the lifestyle and attitude of THE PEOPLE who make New Orleans, Louisiana = NOLA! To support (in their continued recovery efforts) a city that, and its residents who, had given so much to the world.
The gift of JAZZ!!!! The gifts of so many wonderful musicians and artists!
