Personal, philosophical, commentary on the song (because NIGHTWISH inspires me like that):

Poor, dear Alice. She'll never get her tears back. She'll never find the exit as long as she searches only for the entrance. As long as she searches for the future in the past.


Once you're there, the entrance no longer matters. That door closes and locks behind you. The way IN is not the way OUT. The way out is a new way. A new path you must be brave enough to find for yourself.
There is no end if beginnings are all you seek. There can be no new beginnings without endings of the old.

They were BRILLIANT!!! AbsoFRICKENlutely BRILLIANT!!!!!!  Nightwish, their music, just seem to set such a magical, otherworldly mood.  The best I can describe it, as a frequent concert goer, is a collective mystic energy unique to them.  It seems to transport  you not  just to another time  and place; but,  to another time and place in your soul. A beautiful, wonderful, magical place that you want to revisit time and time again.


I LOVE IT and I LOVE NIGHTWISH!!!

PS:  I must admit, I wasn't sure how well this night would go with Anette Olzon recently parting ways with Nightwish.  But, there was nothing to worry about.  Floor  Janson was, simply put, amazing!!! I was beyond impressed with her performance/vocals.  A perfect Nightwish fit, in my opinion!!!
